W Hotels

The Brief

W Hotels required an attention-grabbing installation encouraging King’s Cross Station visitors to stop-by and have their photograph taken. They wanted to be able to hand out dumpling samples and promote the hotel group. Prior to the rig in London, we had a workshop time of 12 days.

The Process

After receiving the client’s visuals, we created a dumpling cart with a height of 5 metres. Crafting technical drawings, our production team pre-built the cart. With a tight turnaround, we meticulously crafted every element including replica mini-dumplings! Installing overnight, we had just 5 hours to rig the set.

What People Say

"We worked with 3D Set Co on the creation of large installation at Kings Cross Station. Our turn around time was incredibly tight and we were faced with many challenges on material restrictions at the station. Matt and his team worked tirelessly to get our build ready in time. Furthermore, Matt quickly troubleshooted initial design flaws in CAD drawings that had been submitted by a third party which may have otherwise been overlooked. 3D Set Co are a great team and I’d highly recommend them."
